- BREAKING replace loadavg and system check from millis to seconds
- implement all available system clocks, make sure it is correctly
scaled with the origin type
- fix duration::{millis(),ccount(),seconds()} and return a respective
clock's time_point instead of duration. just like led sources, make
sure every module stores timestamps as time_point and intervals as
duration
- no need to track millis overflow on top of existing overflow counter
of the micros64 in getUptime
- remove class overhead in led static delays conversion, just try to
inline the required calculations and use NAME as unique id
also fix some non-apparent issues with heartbeat
- allow zero interval when it is also Mode::Once
- iterating runners to find the interval might return zero
- remove 'local' index and replace sensor code depending on it with the
existing 'slot' aka 'magnitude index' used in value() and type()
- common method to store and retrieve ratios for voltage, current,
active power and energy. default implementation is no-op, sensor
should implement ratio adjustment & calculations to use 'slot' indexes
- re-implement 'expected' values ui. display the actual ratio values,
and have a separate page for updating them in a more apparent way
- remove legacy settings that were adjusting expected values
- remove legacy settings that were resetting ratios and analog calibration
- generic webui action caller, add ratios and analog calibration resets
all of 'emon' sensors were updated to utilize the new approach to the
ratio handling. pulsemeter is somewhat an outlier, but it is unclear
whether removing the energy ratio is justified
terminal part was also updated
- implement `expected` command that hooks into the new ratioFromValue
(and what webui uses to calculate ratios)
- implement `energy` command to list only MAGNITUDE_ENERGY
- remove old pzem004t commands doing ratio reset and total energy count
another global update is related to espurna::duration
- rework module-local heartbeat and led durations into a global
espurna::duration
- update sensor internals to use specific units instead of multiplying things
on line-by-line basis. export count() to the api
given that relay, button and led settings may be hardcoded,
explicitly remove from -core and -core-webui
restore telnet debugging though, since the terminal output needs it
for -core-webui, disables mdns and the generic webui server + webui blob
per 56f74cfe, make the resulting .bin even smaller
Implement strongly-typed time units via std::chrono,
compile-time checks with static delays and limit possible values in the
pattern parser. Clamp 'repeats' as well, instead of relying on overflow
Rework internal loop & template runners, so there's no need to
proxy status and led struct all over. Instead, simply declare two
separate funcs that are supposed to be run during the pattern and at
it's end.
Instead of cloning the 'delays' array, implement a sequence iterator
that is tracking the currently used delay and it's repeats, and which
also jumps to the next entry in the list.
(but, this uses c++ iterators, and *may* be prone to errors)
Implement small terminal command 'led <ID> [<PATTERN STRING>]'.
Running without the 'PATTERN STRING' resets the LED to the values in settings.
Move re2c-generated parser back into a separate file, use .cpp.inc as
include and .re as the source
ref. #2476, fix 'finite' pattern handling
Otherwise, some things are still hidden
(or, depend on the order of incoming messages)
Make thermostat code use those as well, instead of injecting
thermostatVisible in every json payload
As well as previous commits, remove ..._config.h header in favour of .cpp
Refactor loop to only use the `Led` instance, without needing to know
it's ID. Link relay<->led on demand instead of using a flat list.
Import LedPattern implementation into the .cpp, preserve existing .in
file to generate the constructor code (when needed).
Use accessor methods instead of plain members where possible, try to
hide the actual implementation details behind some common ones.
Introduce default settings query for `led` prefix. Setting function
reworked to use common string `prefix` checker instead of requiring the
consumer to provide a onKeyCheck-like lambda / standalone function.
Relays list is indexed through the LED ids, don't use relayCount()
Also delay the LED update until the status actually changes, b/c
the relayStatus() value is used.
resolve#2436
- replace JustWifi with a custom WiFi module
- re-implemented Core methods that deal with scanning, directly work with the SDK callback
- re-implemented Core method for opmode to avoid dealing with the 2.7.x pseudo modes
- re-implemented Core method for forced-(modem)-sleep (with the intention to merge with OpmodeNull... todo)
- disable reconnect and autoconnect from SDK, avoid unintentionally storing ssid & pass for these and
make connection routine watch for events instead. timeout is implemented as a local timer
- do not store runtime data that can be retrieved via SDK calls
- settings are loaded only when starting AP or STA, networks are no longer kept in memory
- settings STA ssidN must be unique
- remove char buffer from the event callback
- trigger station-disconnected event when actually disconnected, not when connecting or explicitly requesting it
- generic rssi sorting method for initial connection, do rssi checks while connected to find a better network
Drop (temporarily?) wps and smartconfig. Both are implementable with the new approach,
but come with some weird expectations from the SDK side (no extra heap with wps, broadcasting plain-text
passphrase with smartconfig, storing station config implicitly, etc.).
Both are sort-of fixed with RTOS SDK, but it is still a big question of whether to support them at all in the current state.
Namespace build configurations of modules, make more things into constexpr
(not fully finished though)
Unify code using ...Count() to parse IDs
Avoid using unsigned char aka uint8_t as index, prefer size_t
as most code already uses it anyway. Making sure we never accidentally
truncate the value or try to read it as 32bit-wide. Also, simplify
access to built in containers, since those use the wide type as well.
Renames led and button types, more consistent initialization and field access.
- gpio module now tracks the known providers (right now, hardware and mcp expander)
- refactored relay struct to use 'Provider' implementing setup, notify, change, boot instead of just BasePin actions
- refactored button module to use gpio provider instead of referencing types itself
- removed dual & stm code from buttons, migrate both to relay module
- added status notify and change callbacks for relayStatus (i.e. 'notify' when relay status was called, but not changed. and 'changed' when it did)
- relays runtime configuration keys
- relay command now shows configured relays and current & target statuses
- refactor the code using relayStatus(0, blah) under LIGHT_PROVIDER check to use lightState instead
- remove rfbridge code form relay module. implement through a basic state listener in the rfbridge module, depend on RELAY_SUPPORT
- allow to bind rf codes to real relays
- drop tuya-specific lights provider, remove tuya code from relays and lights modules
- integrate tuya via relay listeners and providers, use lights custom provider
- implement channel transitions for tuya. disabled by default, and transition time and step are overridden to 2000 + 100. needs to be set to some value below the total time (i.e. `total transition time / step time == number of steps`, we need to figure out a correct time that serial comms could handle)
- lights custom provider (global, not per-pin) and state listeners
- remove lights code from relay module. implement through providers & listeners in the lights module, depend on RELAY_SUPPORT
- lights per-channel relay provider (unused atm), depend on RELAY_SUPPORT
- refactored channel transition - calculate step only once, make sure time + step values are sane, generate quick transitions with very small delay (10ms hardcoded) for transitions during OFF state i.e. we no longer waste 500ms (or whatever transition time is set to) on boot doing nothing
- transition time + step parameter for the lightUpdate
- report mask parameter for the lightUpdate
- minor fixes across the board
resolve#2222
* broker: declare and define per module
We no longer need to specify each Broker type in broker.h
But, we exchange that bit for explicit initialization of the instance
Define helper macros to generate boilerplate code
- namespace with Instance, Register(), Publish()
- forward Register(...) -> Instance.Register(...),
Publish(...) -> Instance.Publish(...)
* don't check for broker when deps enable it
- general conversion from .ino modules into a separate .cpp files
- clean-up internal headers, place libraries into .h. guard .cpp with _SUPPORT flags
- fix some instances of shared variables instead of public methods
- tweak build system to still build a single source file via os environment variable ESPURNA_BUILD_SINGLE_SOURCE
- use similar to relay & wifi, configuration through helper methods that
use indexed defines
- clock cycles for led delay polling
- button mode defaults
- mask is defined as (relay# status << number)
- transparently handle base-2 and base-10 numbers
- if the relay mode requires us to save the mask, it will be saved as base-2
- add experimental `relayDummy` to configure dummy relays at runtime
- add tuya-generic-dimmer #1729
- cleanup broker interface to allow Tuya module to properly receive events, modify broker methods to allow different function signatures
- add basic tests for Tuya frame and data protocol
- customize relay TOGGLE payload
- match payload string when receiving mqtt status message
- reference enum values instead of raw integers, spell out intended status
- remove dead code
amend #1885, capitalize `relayPayload...` suffix instead of using uppercase
add `relayPayloadToggle`
- update every dynamicjsonbuffer with fixed size constructor argument
- change to ws callback registration to use a class builder (just cosmetic)
- test multiple ws data callbacks for each module
- remove some of the static strings in favour of ws data callback
- improve sensor ws callback data size, remove duplicated strings
- use static buffer in wsDebugSend
- postpone wsSend until loop, implement wsPost to allow other modules to queue message callbacks. remove Ticker based ws callbacks for data
- update WebUI files
